Carolyn Keber, Founder and Head Coach
Carolyn Keber grew up in Bethesda, Maryland, one of the hotbeds of lacrosse and was a 4-year varsity midfielder at The Holton-Arms School. In her senior year, she was recognized as a High School All-American, Washington Post’s All-Met Team, and selected to play in the John’s Hopkins North/South game. Following high-school, she went on to play Division I at Dartmouth College as an attack player, which included a run to the NCAA quarterfinals. Carolyn’s coaching career has spanned over twenty-five years and a multitude of levels – ranging from 10u girls to the Welsh National Team. Her passion was recognized in 2008 with her induction into The Holton-Arms School Athletic Hall of Fame for excellence in and contribution to girls’ sports.
When not coaching or teaching math, she enjoys spending time with her husband Patrick, their two dogs Chip and Bella and Coach Mom.
Maggie McDaniel
Coach Maggie has been playing lacrosse for over 10 years now. Her journey started in middle school and hasn’t stopped since! She was recruited to play lacrosse at the collegiate level by Missouri Baptist University (NAIA) where she was a four year starting attacker. She then spent a fifth year at Missouri Western State University (DII) as a member of the inaugural team! She moved to the Tampa Bay region in 2021 after graduating and laid the foundation for the Varsity Girl’s program at Bradenton Christian School. In her spare time she loves stringing lacrosse sticks, trail running, and attempting to learn how to crochet!
Gigi Canali
Coach Gigi started playing lacrosse in middle school after years of competing in other sports, and it quickly became her favorite. One thing Gigi loves about lacrosse is that many players with diverse sports backgrounds come together, which creates a team filled with a range of strengths and perspectives. As she aims to play lacrosse in college, Gigi is excited about continuing to develop her skills and take on new challenges.
Alongside Gigi’s personal goals, she’s thankful for the chance to volunteer as a coach and make a positive impact on the next generation of players. It’s not just about teaching them lacrosse; it’s about inspiring confidence, hard work and teamwork. And seeing their excitement and progress is the best!
Gabbie Hotaling
Coach Gabbie started playing lacrosse in middle school after doing competitive gymnastics for eight years. She was drawn to the sport because of the tight knit community and competitive atmosphere. Gabbie loves lacrosse because it is always evolving so you are required to keep improving. It requires versatile athletes who are quick on their feet, smart on the field, and have a passion for what they are doing!
Coach Gabbie loves the game as a whole and coaching has given her a way to share my love for the sport with the younger generation. She loves watching them improve and gradually become more confident over time all well having fun on the field with their friends. The lessons they learn will serve them well even after they are done playing and she is grateful that she gets to be a small part of their journey.
